That’s why, at Kontagious, we’re passionate about helping students build meaningful connections with business leaders, executives, and professionals right here in the Bay Area.

From the moment you join us, we’re committed to walking with you as you grow—not just as a student, but as a leader. Leadership development is at the heart of what we do. We provide a space where students can discover their potential, take on leadership roles, and build crucial skills like networking, public speaking, interpersonal interaction, and cross-cultural communication.

Our entire student journey is thoughtfully designed to help you adapt to American culture and thrive in it. We start by helping you develop strong communication and interpersonal skills, breaking through language barriers and building confidence. Then, we help bridge the gap between your student experience and the professional world by connecting you with leaders in your field.

Leadership begins from within. At Kontagious, we provide opportunities for students to take on small leadership roles within our programs—roles that offer real experience and personal growth. Whether you’re leading a discussion, helping run a camp, or guiding others, every step is designed to cultivate your leadership potential.

Our camps and conferences—like Tahoe! Leadership and Tahoe Live Leadership Camp—are core experiences that offer deep mentorship, leadership training, and community connection. These camps are where we really get to know you, invest in your strengths, and help you find your place as a leader, especially as you adjust to life in a new country.Beyond our camps, we host workshops throughout the year focused on essential skills like resume writing, interviewing, and professional development. Our Yosemite Camp is another important space where we observe, encourage, and nurture potential leaders—creating space for growth and transformation.We also offer two to three annual “Rare Leadership” events, inspired by the book Rare Leadership, designed to help you grow in emotional resilience, character, and influence. Alongside these larger events, we hold smaller leadership training sessions and focused discussions—creating consistent moments for growth and development in a nurturing, supportive environment. What makes this journey even more special is our team of volunteers—former students who’ve been where you are. They understand your challenges and opportunities and are dedicated to helping you succeed.
